Deratization

Deratization (Rodent Control)

Rodent control (deratization) is a professional activity aimed at the elimination of carriers of infectious diseases and the reduction of increased occurrence of harmful rodents. It is carried out primarily for the protection of human health and property. At the same time, it is stipulated by law as a mandatory part of cleaning, property maintenance, and production processes
(see Sections 55 and 57 of Act No. 258/2000 Coll.).

If you notice an increased presence of unwanted rodents in your premises, do not hesitate to contact us. Rodent overpopulation often has a rapid and serious course and can cause significant economic damage. In addition to contamination and damage to property, rodents are also carriers of very serious infectious diseases. The most common pests in our region include rats, mice, brown rats, and voles.

We do not recommend purchasing expensive and often ineffective products from drugstores. A more suitable solution is to invite a trained professional with valid certification, who will choose the correct procedure according to the specific situation.

We use only highly effective methods and approach each customer individually, with an emphasis on their satisfaction. Clean and fast execution of the intervention is a matter of course for us, as well as discretion and courteous conduct.

Types of Rodent Control

Our services can be used either as a one-time intervention or as part of regular rodent control, during which we cooperate with the client to design a functional and long-term effective protection system. Rodent control is suitable for companies, housing cooperatives, schools, sites, municipalities, and private properties.

One-Time Targeted Rodent Control

This intervention is carried out in premises where problematic rodent overpopulation has occurred.
The effect of the intervention is usually noticeable within a few days.

Regular Preventive Rodent Control

Especially suitable for companies, warehouses, production facilities, housing cooperatives, schools, kindergartens, cultural centers, cinemas, swimming pools, and other buildings.

In regular rodent control, we set the visit schedule individually according to the level of infestation and the client's needs:

  • in buildings without apparent problems or rodent presence, we perform, for example, two visits per year,

  • in high-risk or long-term affected operations, where rodents are heavily nested and connected to surface food sources, we are able to offer rodent control even at monthly intervals.

This is a planned and very effective form of protection, always tailored to the specific property.

Area-Wide Rodent Control

An effective solution for larger areas, such as industrial facilities, extensive company and warehouse complexes, public spaces, housing estates, municipalities, and cities.

Area-wide rodent control is carried out mainly in spring and autumn. During regular visits, we gradually map problematic locations and deliberately intensify interventions in areas with the strongest nesting activity until the risk of overpopulation is reduced to a minimum.

Methods and Equipment Used

We most often use chemical and mechanical rodent control methods, or a combination of both. In chemical rodent control, we purposefully use special rodenticides intended for professional use.

We exclusively use high-quality lockable rodent control stations made of hard plastic, in which the bait is securely fixed. The robust construction of the stations is safe for pets and building occupants.

Elimination mechanisms are combined according to the type of pest, the nesting location, and the specific situation. We commonly use:

  • mechanical snap traps

  • rodent control gel

  • rodent control foam for the treatment of cavities and passages

  • special rodenticide blocks approved for use in humid environments and sewer systems

Each intervention includes all required safety signage, bait placement plans, and necessary documentation.

In every intervention, we emphasize not only maximum rodent control effectiveness, but also careful and safe execution, with consideration for the environment and non-target species.

If you are interested, do not hesitate to contact us – we will be happy to advise you, discuss your situation, and propose a suitable solution.

Rodent control services are carried out in compliance with the applicable legislation of the Czech Republic in the field of public health protection, in particular in accordance with Act No. 258/2000 Coll., on the Protection of Public Health, and in compliance with the European standard ČSN EN 16636 (Pest Management Services).
For each intervention, we ensure complete mandatory documentation and safety signage.
